Today I place into your (virtual!) hands not merely a brochure, but a little book of longing, a keepsake of promise, and a whisper of all that is to come at my Take Me To The Lakes Retreat in June 2026.

Take Me To The Lakes is no ordinary retreat, and so its introduction could never be confined to ordinary paper or a simple digital download!
Oh no, instead, I want to create a brochure that feels like it has been spun like a thread the Romantics would be proud of, stitched with poetry, and scattered with hints of the dream-world we will enter together in June 2026.

In an age where our fingertips brush endlessly against glowing screens and words vanish as quickly as they appear, I wanted to create something you might actually hold close, not just clutter on your desktop, but instead, perhaps something that might sit on your nightstand or be slipped between the pages of a book, ready to catch your eye and stir your heart.
This is why the Take Me To The Lakes brochure exists. Not just as a collection of details, but as a treasure map.
Inside you will find the full itinerary, from John Ruskin’s beloved Brantwood, Beatrix Potter’s Hill Top, the homes and words of Wordsworth and Coleridge, and even an evening woven through with the music of Taylor Swift’s Folklore and The Lakes. You’ll also uncover the history of our accomodation, Lanehead, the setting on Arthur Ransome’s ‘Swallows and Amazons’!
Each page is a promise that we will walk where poets walked, listen where dreamers listened, and let ourselves be claimed by the soul of the Lake District.
